My family and I as well as friends have stayed at the 3 River Cottage on several occasions. The cottage is tucked away and surrounded by majestic old oaks and has a great view of the river and easy access. We have spent a few afternoons just drifting down the river on floats or tubes. The cottage living area is spacious and nicely furnished. We especially love the fireplace in the cooler months. We also enjoyed the large back porch for just sitting and visiting and watching the river flow by. What a way to relax and get away from it all! I highly recommend the 3
River Cottage.

The perfect getaway from the city life
My family and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Three Rivers Cottage. The beauty of the area completely took us by surprise. From witnessing a spectacular sunset all together to enjoying a ride down the river, our experience was like no other. We found the cottage and its amenities to be very accommodating making our stay a very pleasant one. We can't wait to schedule a new stay.

Viqui and I had a wonderful time during our week in Florida. We discovered that one week is not nearly enough time, as it went by quickly. We enjoyed using your cabin. It was ideally situated for our purposes. We kayaked two days on the Santa Fe, one day each direction and two days on the Ichetucknee river. We did get to kayak with the manatees where the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe join. We also saw lots of river otters along both rivers. We thought the cabin was nicely furnished, clean, and comfortably designed. We especially appreciated the large back porch where we ate most of our meals. All in all, it was a great location and we were very pleased with the outcome.Best wishes, Fred and Viqui

The Jones’ River Place – Our safe haven!
For the past 15 years, my family has enjoyed the peace and solitude of the Santa Fe River at the two homes owned by Bill & Sharon Jones. In fact, both of my daughter’s say it is one of their favorite spots. Whether we are canoeing up to the spring just a stone’s throw from the “Inn” or going for a ride down to the Ichetucknee on the pontoon boat, we always kick back and take advantage of the opportunity for some rest and relaxation.

At the “Inn”, nighttime and early morning are my favorites. The owls are out at night, and the old oak trees give me the impression of being out in the woods - with all the comforts of home at my fingertips. Early morning when the fog is sitting on the river – you can enjoy the ducks and other waterfowl. We even witnessed river baptisms one Sunday morning when the golf carts pulled up at the boat ramp for Sunday Service. We have many fond memories at the Santa Fe – our oldest daughter’s college graduation party, Bill and Sharon’s wedding, Easter egg hunts, watching the kids spend the entire day jumping off the dock into the river, the dog chasing the ball down the riverbank so many times that she could hardly walk the next day, bonfires, our last visits with Bill’s parents, family reunions, or reunion weekends with dear friends. It has been a place for us to go for healing and solitude as well – for the body to be at peace with nature without the interruption of the phone, traffic, and the stress of daily life. We are truly blessed to have such a place that is only a short forty minute drive from Gainesville!

Nature, beauty, peace and quiet. Just a few things you’ll find here. I loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and the early morning light on the water. And the sunset was gorgeous! We loved the boat ride up and down the river. We can’t wait to back when we can swim in the crystal clear water. It’s a very relaxing and calm place but so close to everything that nature brings you’ll find it hard to be bored. We’ve attached a picture of our family on the dock.
